King Solomon ultimate
discovery before his demise may have come as a surprise to many. Following the
fabulous temple structure he built, possessing enormous riches and experiencing
fame and prosperity, King Solomon came to the last days of his life with an
astonishing statement “All is Vanity”.
He later grasped that all his wealth would be left for his son, and not even
him Solomon could predict the type of character his son would have
(Ecclesiastic 2:19).
We could summarize Solomon’s
finding by saying “Enjoy every moment of your life, because you won’t take your
wealth with you”. God’s covenant is attached alongside to those who follow his
precepts. However, we should always remember that there are many things more
valuable than acquiring land, silver and gold.
There are as follow:
1.
Pledge that your entire family enters a
redemptive covenant through the messiah.
2.
Making sure that you and your family enjoy
good health and living long and fulfilling lives.
3.
Learning to walk in forgiveness and
dying in peace knowing where you are going before you arrive.
4.
Knowing that your future generations are
being raised in the presence of the Lord and the new covenant.
5.
Having peace to sleep each night and
having joy with the type of job you do.
6.
Making friends who love you for who you
are and not what you have or what you can do for them.
Having been redeemed by
the messiah, have healthy children, can pay your bills and sleep at night, have
friends who love you and enjoy your job, then you are truly successful in life.
You are truly
prosperous.
