REJOICE!!!!!

“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say rejoice!” – Philipians 4:4

The Apostle Paul has to be one of the most incredible men that ever walked the earth. His convictions were solid; his faith in God, unwavering. He revealed some of the deepest secrets of the Gospel to us and we are eternally grateful for his faithfulness to the call of God

Have you ever wondered what would have happened if Paul did not give out what God gave him? We might even now still be in the dark about some of the most important and fundamental principle of the Gospel. Take the principles of Joy for instance. Paul did not have the easiest ministry. He was persecuted everywhere he turned, but he lived his life with joy! Sticking his head out of a dank jail cell he screamed out for all ages to hear: “REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS!!”

What curve has life thrown at you? What is weighing your soul down? You may not have control over the situation but you have control over your response. Rejoice! When the world expects you to throw in the towel and cave in, rejoice! When people expect you to murmur and complain, rejoice!!

The enemy cannot thrive around a joyful Christian. The seeds sown by the devil cannot thrive in a joy-filled atmosphere. Joy will cause depression to wilt! Joy will cause the grace of God to multiply. You may hitherto have grumbled and complained about the things that life has brought to you, but it is time to switch. Rejoice and watch the Word of God take root in your heart and bear fruit in your life.

Again I say to you, REJOICE!!
