“…who through
faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the
mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword,
out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight
the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again” Hebrews
11:33-35
The eleventh chapter of
the Book of Hebrews reads like the script of an action movie. The Heroes Faith,
as we have come to call them, look and sound totally amazing! They stepped out
of their comfort zones and turned the world upside down and inside out. They
did not take “no” for an answer. They took no prisoners. They fought bravely
and won gallantly. Inspiring!
But then, you do not
need to read too deep or be a Greek Scholar to realize that these men were just
like us, complete with their flaws and inadequacies. But, they all had one
common denominator – they believed God!
Faith in God is the
most powerful force on the face of the earth. When we exhibit faith, we take
off the limits and push the boundaries! With faith, we do what no other person
has done. When we exhibit faith, we tell God we are ready for exploits!
You have to realize
that God wants to establish His kingdom on earth and He needs you to partner
with Him. He has given you the earth. He needs you to take charge!
The news media are
replete with unending tales of wars and woes, and people’s hearts are growing
faint. Who shines the light in darkness? Who gives hope in despair? Who helps
the helpless?
You have got the power!
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and
you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the
ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
The Holy Spirit is in
you! You have power to cause change. You have power to turn the tide against
the enemy. You have power to enforce God’s will on earth.
You have the power!
I write to you with
sense of purpose and destiny. You were not sent to the earth to take sides. You
were sent to take over. You have what it takes to re-organize the media world.
You have what it takes to sanitize the banking world. You have what it takes to
rule the legal service world. You have what it takes to realign family values.
You have what it takes to be a living template of the risen Christ!
Don’t leave the game
the way you met it. Be the game changer! Don’t leave the earth the way you met
it. Don’t leave your community the way you met it.
We have what it takes
to cause change.
Let’s change the world!
