GETTING
YOUR DOMINION BACK.
And I looked,
and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the
people, Do not be afraid at them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and
fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your
hiuses. And it happened, when our enemies heard that it was known to us, and
that god had brought their plot to nothing, that all of us returned to the
wall, everyone to his work.-- “Nehemiah
4:14,15”
Nehemiah heart was stirred!!!
The king cupbearer had
a passion for things to be restored to their original state back in his
homeland. He lived in opulence, but his mind was drawn to the ruins of his
nation. You know God is positioning you for something great when He begins to
stir your heart towards restoration.
When you step out of
the status quo and begin to take steps in kingdom expansion, you become a
threat to the devil. The devil is not really bothered with you being saved. He
is not really threatened by your new found faith. However, it is a different
kettle of fish when you begin to take steps to make sure that God’s kingdom is
expanded. The enemy knows that everything will change because you are taking
divine steps in line with God’s purpose for your life.
As soon as Nehemiah stirred the people to work
and their hands joined in covenant, the enemy was roused. You will see
opposition when you begin to align with God’s plans for your life. Just because
there is chaos all around you doesn’t mean you will not see the glory of God.
God can bring cosmos out of your chaos.
As a takeover
Generation, you cannot afford to sit back and watch. It is time to step into
every sphere of the world and cause a change. It is time to bring every field
of endeavor under the kingdom of God. From media to music, from financial
institutions to the fashion houses, everything must be back to God’s order. We
will not stop until the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our God
and of His Christ. You are not here to take sides; you are here to takeover!
It is important to take
your place because you belong to the only legal institution that is designed to
bring forth divine change. The Church is the only institution that can cause
divine change. Jesus is affording us an
opportunity to be positioned for what God has for us in purpose. You are here
on an assignment to cause change. This is the purpose of the stirring in your
spirit. Your spirit has a memory of your future that your mind has a hard time
grasping.
When you get tired of
your distress, you will draw a line and o something about your situation. If
you really want something you will find a way, if you don’t, you will find an
excuse.
If you are going to be
effective and fulfill your calling as a part of the takeover generation, you
must know what God thinks about you. God is not mad at you; He is crazy about
you. God loves you and He has always loved you. His thoughts towards you are
thought of good and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. God will bend
over backwards to pull you out of your situation into where He designed you to
be. But then, He needs your permission.
In Genesis 1:28, God
gave man the power of attorney to act on His behalf when He gave him dominion.
Now, you are in partnership with God:
“For we are
God’s fellow workers [His servants working together]; you are God’s cultivated
field [His garden, His vineyard], God’s building.” (1 Corinthians 3:9 Amplified
Bible)
In Genesis 1:28 God has
given us five commandments for victory: Be fruitful, multiply, replenish the
earth, subdue and have dominion! God’s purpose for man is hidden in the word
“dominion.” To have dominion is to have rulership. It is from the Hebrew word “
marshal”, which means to rule, have dominion, and reign. You must make up your
mind to take your place in God’s scheme of things. It is time to restore the
dominion mandate. It is time to be all you were born to be. It is time to take
your place.
You have received
power! You have EXOUSIA (power to act), DUNAMIS (might), KRATOS (strength).
That is what is on you. That is what you should operate in. when Nehemiah began
to operate like this, Tobiah and Sanballat rose up against them. When you
responds to the call of destiny, the enemy is roused. First, they mocked the
work and then they tried to stop the work, but God gave Nehemiah a strategy,
and in the face of opposition, he did in fifty-two days what the people could
not do in 90 years.
I speak acceleration
into your life. You will do in a short time what people have not been able to
do in a long time. Receive speed! Walk in dominion. Implement the kingdom
mandate. Fill the earth. Subdue it. The enemy cannot survive this face-off. You
are more than a conqueror. Go ahead, fulfill your purpose in the name of
Jesus!!!!
