Trust in the
Lord with all your heart. And lean not on your own understanding; in all your
ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
“Proverb 3:5-6”
People have grown to
believe that God is a boring sadist who doesn’t want the best for them. When
you ask them if they consulted with God before making a resolution, they flinch
and act like God would ask them to do something that would bring them neither joy
nor accomplishment. They just don’t trust Him.
Go after your heart
Your feelings will direct
you
Pay attention to your
heart.
These are some of the
words with which the world we live in encourages people to make life altering
decisions. They tell you that your heart will not lead you down the wrong path.
They tell you that your heart knows the way. If this is true, then Jesus did
not need to have come in the flesh. The world always designs a way to shut out
God. If you follow this patterns, you will short change yourself and lose out
on what God has for you. For the man without Christ, the Bible describes his
heart thus;
The heart is
deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
“Jeremiah 17:9”
The heart of a innate
man cannot be trusted. It is untrustworthy and wicked. Even after you get born
again and your heart is regenerated, you must make a conscious effort to
acknowledge God in everything that you do. You should not go off and be lord
over yourself and not care what the Lord your God has to say about the issue
you are dealing with or the decisions you are about to make.
You have to realize that God knows the world more
than you do. He understands your life more than you ever will. Only He can
direct your path appropriately.
The Bible says:
There is a
way that seems right to a man, but it’s end is the way of death “Proverb 16: 25”
Just because it seems right or feels right doesn’t
make it right. You must actively brings your plans before God. You must be
deliberate about seeking His direction. It is when He directs you that you will
find success. When you do this, you display a level of trust that make God move
beyond your wildest dreams. You open up yourself to greater potential.
It’s time to let go of trust issues and cling to
Jehovah- the one and only wise God!
